Madelyn got into bed and cuddled up beside me. When I put my arm around her, my hand ran up the side of her ribs. She tensed up and laughed just a bit under her breath, just enough for me to know that it had tickled her.
I said, "You know what? I think the clock says 'Tickle Time'."
She replied, "I think the clock says 'Sleepy Time'."
"I think you're right. Night, night."
That definitely would've been a Rookie Year mistake. Atta girl, Newb, pump the preschooler up at bedtime. D'oh!
