The pansies that Madelyn and her Daddy planted last fall (and it's no coincidence that they are 'morange', her favorite color) are starting to perk up since the weather has been warming up this week. They are already planning to plant their sugar snap peas this weekend...spring will be here before we know it. I've enjoyed all of the cold, snowy, wintry, gray days we've had--but I'm ready to move on to sunny and 70 days with a slight breeze, watching the flowers and trees start to bloom, and hearing the chirping birds and the sounds of the cicadas ushering in early summer. I'm thankful I live in a place where I get to enjoy all four seasons in their own time.
