A Candy Picnic

That's what Madelyn said they were doing. They were having a candy picnic in the backyard. Not only did I give them unfettered access to the Holy Grail of Childhood (the Halloween Pumpkins), but I didn't even try and slow them down from the phrenetic paper-ripping and mouth-stuffing as I sat and took pictures. I'm sure Holden's mama was lovin' me for loading her kiddo up on simple carbs right before dinner. If there's a 'For Sale' sign in their yard tomorrow, you'll know it's my fault.
