Don't Curl Up in That Quilt and Giggle

Don't do it. Don't you look at me. I mean it. Don't look at me and smile. I'm not kidding, either.

Works.Every.Time.

And it's great while she's four, and you're using those reverse-psychology tricks for getting cute smiles---but frankly, that same attitude won't be so great if she still practices it at fifteen.

Or maybe....Look for the loser boys. I mean it. Don't you bring any nice boys around here. Look for the bad dudes---the party animals. And I'm not kidding, either. You'd better not be home before 2am. Don't you do that homework---blow it off and watch some more television. Vegetables? Nah, go for the Reese Cups! All of your friends are going to unchaperoned parties, and I think you should, too.

I think I've spent too much time with Little Hoot, Little Pea and Little Oink.

I really should get out more.
